Do not call this phone number for dog training information or other frivolous reasons, as you may be preventing law enforcement from reaching us.
When determining the appropriate response to a request, the following information is helpful:
1) Type of terrain in the search area (urban or wilderness)
2) Type of search (lost person, drowning, cadaver, or disaster)
For those of you who might be interested in SAR information, or in making donations of time, money or other resources, please feel free to email us . We are a nonprofit organization made up of volunteers, and there are many expenses involved with our work! Training materials for the dogs and their handlers, Travel for searches and seminars, hosting seminars for the public and other organizations, and medical expenses for the dogs are just a few of the things we have to contend with. As such, donations of any kind are much appreciated. Even small items such as tennis balls and other training equipment are helpful. You can find more info on the Make a Donation page.
